Zohaib Ahmad is a scholar of Comparative Religion. He completed his doctorate form the Department of Comparative Religion, International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan. His major fields of study are Comparative Religion, Kalam, Religious Conversion, Judaism, Buddhism. He had produced eight research articles. Currently, he is serving as Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Islamic Learning, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
Early Life
Born in 1987, in Chishtian, a city of Punjab, Pakistan, he completed his early education from his home town. Since his earlier days, he had interest in religious studies, Urdu literature, and computer science.
Education
Till fifth grade, he studied in the Young Scholars Public School, a private school located in the heart of the city. Afterward he joined Jamia Rasheedia, a Madrassa from where he memorized the Holy Quran under the supervision of Qari Muhammad Afzal Khan Sarhindi. He later studied at Chishtian Science College, a private sector college founded and established by the retired professors of Government Degree College Chishtian.
In 2007, he got admission in the International Islamic University (IIU), Islamabad from where he completed his BS, MS, and PhD in 2012, 2014, and 2018 respectively. He learned from the notable scholars such as Anis Ahmad, Imtiyaz Zafar, Nabil Fouly Mohamed, Muhammad Akram, Muhammad Modassir Ali, and Khursheed Ahmad. The academic environment of IIU played a major role in his mental grooming. It was where he decided to select the Study of World Religions as his major specialization. In the university, he learned English, Arabic, and Hindi languages which later proved a fortune for his academic career.

Professional Career
During his doctorate, he started teaching at International Islamic University as a Visiting Lecturer. Afterward he joined the University of Lahore, Pakpattan Campus in 2017. For the next two years he served there as a Lecturer of Arabic & Islamic Studies. Later he joined the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar Campus where he taught courses such as Comparative Religion and Research Methodology. For almost a year he served as Assistant Professor of Islamic Studies in the University of Sialkot, Punjab, Pakistan. There he became head of the department. After his short tenure at the University of Sialkot, he joined the Faculty of Islamic Learning, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan.
