Bannu University Research Journal in Islamic Studies (BURJIS) is a bi-annual research journal in Islamic Studies. The journal is trilingual (Arabic, English, Urdu) published by Department of Islamic Studies & Research, University of Science & Technology Bannu. It is a double blind peer reviewed and open access journal. It was established in 2014 and the journal was initially recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan in “Z” category and going to be upgrade soon (in sha Allah) in “Y” category.
BURJIS is zealous to the promotion of intellectual study of Islam and the Muslim world. It is pertinent to mention that the journal encourages the research in the field of Socio-Religious issues.

Aims & Objectives/Vision & Mission
Bannu University Research Journal in Islamic Studies (BURJIS) has objectives:
- To promote scholarly research.
- To provide analytical reviews on contemporary books.
- To encourage and motivate scholars to publish their research without any racial or religious discrimination.
- To facilitate research scholars in creating comprehensive and global understanding of Islam.
