چاند چہرے پہ یہ جو زلف سنوارے ہوئے ہیں
میری آنکھوں کے سبھی نقش اتارے ہوئے ہیں

تجھ کو دیکھا ہے تو پھر دان کیا آنکھوں کو
ہم نے جاناں یوں ترے صدقے اتارے ہوئے ہیں

باندھ رکھا ہے اسی بات نے تیرے در سے
تیرے ہونٹوں نے مرے نام پکارے ہوئے ہیں

مجھ سے کل کہتی تھی اک دھند میں لپٹی ہوئی شام
وہ تمھارے ہیں، تمھارے ہیں، تمھارے ہوئے ہیں

تجھ سے مل کر تھے زمانے بھی ہمارے ہمدم
بعد تیرے ہمیں بے انت خسارے ہوئے ہیں

چاند تکتا ہے اسے ٹکٹکی باندھے شب کو
پائوں اس نے یہ جو ندیا میں اتارے ہوئے ہیں

اس کی پوروں سے جو ٹکرائی تھی شبنم سی ہوا
شب ہوئی اور وہ قطرے سے ستارے ہوئے ہیں

کاش اک بار غزل سننے کو آئے وہ فضاؔ
اور میں کہہ دوں سبھی شعر تمھارے ہوئے ہیں

Assessing and Evaluating Ḥadith its Value, Significance, Authority and Authenticity in Islamic Thought

Qur’an and Ḥadith as fundamental and primary sources of Shariah stand as hall mark of Islam. Ḥadith called traditions as the second fundamental source of Islam embodies sayings, actions and expressions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) explicit or implicit. Mainly there have been two trends of rejecting the status of Ḥadith. One is rejecting the authority of Ḥadith and other rejects the authenticity of Ḥadith especially “Khabar-al-wahid” or solitary tradition. Other group does not completely reject the authority of Ḥadith rather text of Ḥadith especially in case of weak traditions. This paper discuss the opinion of rejecters of Ḥadith and contribution of Muslim scholars along with their arguments from Qur’an and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to highlight the importance and significance of authority and authenticity of Ḥadith in all disciplines of Islamic thought.

Predictors of Job Satisfaction in Universities of Multan Districts: A Mediation Study

This study highlights the role of job crafting and work family conflict on job satisfaction of lecturers. Further, it analyses how sense of wellbeing acts as a mediator between job crafting, work family conflict and job satisfaction. Data was collected through a questionnaire based on adopted scales from a sample of 280 lecturers of private and public sector universities of Multan district, Pakistan. Exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, and multi-group moderation was conducted to provide statistical evidence for hypotheses. Job crafting and work family conflict were found significant in predicting job satisfaction. This study is the only one of its kind and helps to demystify the level of job satisfaction of lecturers of public and private sector universities in developing country like Pakistan.
