Introduction of Dr. Isrār Aḥmad
Dr. Isrār Aḥmad was born on 26th April, 1932A. D/1350A. H. in Ḥiṣār District (India). He was an active member and General Secretary of The Muslim Students Federation for the period 1945-46 A. D. He stood first in Matriculation Exam in 1366A. H/1947A. D in District Ḥiṣār attaining 4th position among the Muslim students of Punjāb. During schooling, he was greatly inspired by the poetry of ‘Allāma Muḥammad Iqbāl (d:1357A. H/1938A. D) and picked up the will to strive for the renaissance of Islām. In Oct-Nov 1947A. D, he came over to Pākistān with a caravan undertaking a tiresome journey of twenty days by traveling on foot. In 1368A. H/1949A. D, he passed F. Sc. from Government College Lāhore, securing 4th position in Punjāb University. He did his MBBS from King Edward Medical College, Lāhore in 1374A. H/1954A. D. Dr. Isrār established the Qur’ān Study Circle and Islamic Hostel at Montgomery (Sāhīwāl) in 1960-61A. D. In 1962A. D, he performed his first pilgrimage with his parents. He passed his M. A. (in Islāmic studies) from Karāchī University in 1965A. D securing 1st position. Thereafter, he set up a private clinic and Qur’ānic Circle at Lāhore. In 1391A. H/1971A. D, he proceeded again for the pilgrimage. It was that period of time when he decided to give up the medical practice and dedicate the rest of his life to serving Dīn. In 1972A. D, Dr. Isrār Aḥmad established Central Anjuman Khuddām al-Qur’ān at Krishan Nagar in Lāhore to propagate the teachings of the Qur’ān. In 1975A. D, he founded an organization with the name of Tanẓīm-e-Islāmī for the supremacy and establishment of Dīn. In the times of President General Ẓiā al-Haq (d: 1409A. H/1988A. D), Dr. Isrār Aḥmad was nominated as...
There is no doubt that the personality of messenger of Allah peace be upon him is irreproachable from all kind of diminutions and barrier of salient bigness and glory. Not only historically biographers have written about the greatness of Prophet peace be upon him, But the Muhadithin have collected a large part of the collection of Hadiths on prophet peace be upon him greatness and honour. Urdu commentators are not far behind in this field. We have come to the conclusion after observing that while interpreting the Qur'anic verses relating to the greatness and character of the Prophet (peace be upon him) The commentators were very eloquent and described the characteristics of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a very eloquent and loving manner. In this article, the detailed material written by the commentators on the characteristics of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in Urdu commentary literature will be presented.
Schizophrenia is related with physiological condition. It effects brain sections including
the prefrontal cortex, the basal ganglia as well as limbic system. There are certain
neurotransmitters present in the brain such as dopamine. When level of dopamine is
disturbed it causes schizophrenia. Environmental factors like stress, depression and
anxiety also contribute to schizophrenia. Several drugs including first and second
generation are available to provide treatment against schizophrenia. Second generation
drugs have better results and less side effects than first generation. Clozapine is second
generation drug which was recommended as best drug for schizophrenia. It rebalances
dopamine and helps to treat the patients of schizophrenia as well as diminishing of
suicidal thoughts. Therapies and counselling also help to overcome this disorder.
Dopamine Beta Hydroxylase catalyzes the synthesis of norepinephrine. Dopamine beta
hydroxylase activity was suggested as a biological marker for schizophrenia alongside
other psychiatric disorders. Here our goal is to design best inhibitor against schizophrenia
with low cost and less side effects because the recommended drugs for schizophrenia are
expensive and have many side effects.
For this study, different databases were used. Structure and potential lead molecules
were identified by the help of structure as well as ligand based virtual screening.
AutoDock is used for virtual screening based on target. For ligand based virtual screening
ZINC 15 database was used. Compounds were selected and further screened by using
PyRx software. The ligands with less binding affinity were selected for analysis.
Structure and interactions are viewed in DS visualizer tool and protein ligand explorer.
Virtual screening is used for computational screening of huge library of chemicals for
the compounds which supplement targets of known structure by testing them
experimentally. Ligands were screened by using PyRx server and ZINC 15 server. Auto
dock is used to dock ligands against drugs and display results. On the bases of binding
energy and affinities ligands were Chosen. Top 10 potent inhibitors displayed high
docking scores as well binding affinity and energy. Drugs can be further analyzed by use
of vitro and in vivo analysis
