مشکل میں جب گیا ہوں درِ اہل بیت پر
مشکل ہوئی کشا ہے درِ اہلِ بیت سے
ہر غم کا ہے علاج درِ اہلِ بیت ہی
ملتی ہر اک شفا ہے درِ اہلِ بیت سے
ہر چیز مل گئی ہے درِ اہلِ بیت سے
ہر کام ہو گیا ہے درِ اہلِ بیت سے
کرتا نہیں سوال کسی اور در پہ یہ
تائب تو مانگتا ہے درِ اہلِ بیت سے

Youth is no doubt the asset of Muslim world. If they are utilized in charitable activities; in the protection of respect and honor; and developmental works, they can prove to be beneficial and a blessing. While if they are taken by destructive elements in their hands they will become source of destruction and harm. By providing proper Islamic education, our future will be in safe hands and will breath in an air of respect among other nations. In young age, deterioration in manners and moral corruption are alarming and cause mischief in society. Therefore, the interest taken in the problems of youth will result in a progressive society and ummah. Islam has given a special place to youth and has declared them future architect and leaders of humanity. The holy prophet S.A.W has given much importance to the youth and focused on them during his life time. In Islamic history, Muslim youth has represented the Muslim world in golden words and has spread the message of Islam’s moral height and greatness to the coming generations and nations. Due to the importance of youth problem of the youth in current time regarding lack of education and training are particularly discussed in this article. The research article begins with the detailed study of the research done in the area of education and socialization of youth. Moreover, the importance of education and socialization has been discussed in the light of the teachings of Quran and Hadith. After this, decadence in education, factors responsible for the decadence in education and its worse consequences have been thoroughly discussed in the light of the teachings of Islam. As there are several reasons responsible for the downfall of education like: parents, teachers, education system, society, state, preachers, political parties and media, therefore, responsibility of the remedy of this lack of proper education and socialization also depend on all these stake holders. In the end of the paper, recommendations are given for the cure of decadence in education.Effect of a Navigation Program on Patient Return After an Abnormal Clinical Breast Cancer Screening Examination Finding at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi
Background: Breast cancer screening programs have been developed in few developing countries to aid curb the increasing burden. However, breast cancer is still being detected in late stage, attributed to barriers in health care. Patient navigation programs have been implemented in developed countries to help patients overcome these barriers, and they have been associated with early detection and timely diagnosis. In Aga Khan University Hospital, only 23% of patients with an abnormal clinical breast examination finding after breast cancer screening subsequently present for review by a surgeon. We aim to investigate the effect of a navigation program on patient return after an abnormal clinical breast examination finding. Methodology: A prospective interventional study comparing two groups of patients with an abnormal breast clinical breast examination finding after breast cancer screening done ‘before’(control group) and ‘after’(intervention group)the introduction of patient navigation program. Patients in the before group received standard care prior to introduction of the navigation program, the after group were navigated. Seventy-six patients were recruited into the study over six months with 38 in each arm. They were followed up for thirty days. Time to return was recorded in days; timely return was defined as review within fourteen days, delayed return as review between fifteen and thirty days and defaulters as no review within thirty days. Results: The proportion of return in the non-navigated and navigated group was 23.7% and 57.9% respectively (OR 4.8, [95% CI 1.62-14.41] p =0.0018.)The proportion of timely return in the non-navigated and navigated group was 18.4% and 52.6% respectively. The mean time to return in the non-navigated and navigated group was 7.33 days and 8.33 days respectively (p=0.67). Conclusion: There was an increase in the proportion of return after abnormal clinical breast examination finding after implementation of the breast navigation program at Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi. screening examination finding at Aga khan University Hospital, NairobiJournals by Discipline
