48. Al-Fat’h/The Victory
I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah
The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.
48:01
a. O The Prophet!
b. Indeed, WE have granted you a victory, an outstanding victory.
48:02
a. So that Allah may save you from blames, earlier and subsequent, if any, and
b. complete HIS Favors upon you, and
c. guide you along the Right Path.
48:03
a. Furthermore, Allah may help you with a strong and unparalleled help.
48:04
a. It is HE WHO sent down the spirit of tranquility and assurance onto the hearts of the believers,
b. so they may increase in faith over and above their present level of faith.
c. And to Allah belong the forces of the celestial realm and the terrestrial world,
d. and Allah is All-Knowing of HIS creatures, All-Wise in HIS actions -
48:05
a. so that HE may admit the believing males and believing females into Paradise through which rivers/streams flow to remain therein forever,
b. and that HE may absolve them of their impieties and sinful trespasses.
c. And that will be a great success with Allah.
48:06
a. And HE punishes the hypocrite males and the hypocrite females alike, and
b. the idolatrous males and the idolatrous females -
c. for they think evil notions about Allah.
d. Their evil is going to come back to them by way of abasement and punishment.
e. Allah’s Wrath is upon them, and
f. HE has cursed them,
g. and has prepared Hell for them -
h. and this is going to be a miserable destination!

يعد النقد الثقافي من الظواهر الادبية ما بعد نصية والذي يبحث في الأنساق المضمرة وبذلك أصبح هو وما انطوى تحت مظلته من نقد نسوي وهوية محاكاة وانعكاس للواقع. وهدفت الدراسة للتعرف على الأثر المباشر للمحاكاة في النقد الثقافي، وخلصت الدراسة الى أن النقد الثقافي وما انطوى تحت عباءته من نقد نسوي أو هوية يعد من المناهج ما بعد نصية التي تجاوزت النص لتبحث في مرجعياته الفكرية غير متجاهل للعلوم الانسانية من تاريخ واجتماع ونفس للكشف عن أنساقه المضمرة أو ابراز هوية ما، وهنا تكمن العلاقة بين تلك المناهج والمحاكاة وانعكاسها المباشر على الواقع
Influence of Ecology on Comprehension of English Idioms and Proverbs by Pakistani Language Learners This study attempts to investigate influences on the comprehension of English ecology bound idioms and proverbs, without any contextual clues, by the language learners of Pakistan. Language of idioms and proverbs has its ecological roots. Ecology is used as a metaphor for physical, social, psychological and learning environment of Pakistan for language learners in this research. The researcher has used mixed methods i.e. both qualitative and quantitative approaches using the tool of a questionnaire for data collection. Content analysis has been used to analyze the data. The study is exploratory in nature and tries to sketch out the type of meanings that are perceived by Pakistani adult learners and the way they comprehend them while learning within their native ecology. The results have been described by surveying and keeping in view the theoretical frameworks of ecological and cognitive influences on the comprehension process of learners in Pakistani context. The study reveals that meaning is a matter of perception and one's ecology plays an important role in forming, understanding and interpreting it. It elucidates various connotations of ecological nature embedded in the formation of idioms or proverbs and compares this to the comprehension level of those language learners who have been brought up and studying in a different ecology. The reasons of problems in mutual intelligibility highlight the interaction between Pakistani learners' ecology and the target language ecology in which English idioms and proverbs originated.
