مذہبی حلقہ کے لیے مولانا احتشام الحسن کاندھلوی کی وفات بھی بڑا حادثہ ہے، وہ اس دور کے صاحب تدین و تقویٰ عالم تھے، شیخ التبلیغ مولانا محمد الیاس رحمۃ اﷲ علیہ کے مجاز اور تبلیغی کاموں میں ان کے دست راست تھے، انھوں نے تبلیغ کو زندگی کا مقصد بنالیا تھا، ہر وقت اسی کی دھن رہتی تھی۔ انھوں نے بہت سے تبلیغی رسائل بھی لکھے، ان کی صحت عرصہ سے خراب تھی، اس کے علاوہ مختلف قسم کی مشکلات میں مبتلا رہے، لیکن کوئی معذوری تبلیغی کام میں حائل نہ ہوسکی اور مرض الموت تک اس کام کو انجام دیتے رہے، اﷲ تعالیٰ ان کے مدارج بلند فرمائے۔ (شاہ معین الدین ندوی، جنوری ۱۹۷۲ء)

Error-free printing of Qur’ānic Text is a collective duty of all Muslims. The fact remains that Muslims have performed this duty with devotion and rightly. They also arranged sittings to discuss "Rasm" and " Ḍabt"(رسم اور ضبط) to understand the crux of matter and provide an expression to the most authentic text. No Muslim can intentionally commit any kind of mistake in the text of Qur’ān. However, such possibilities of error cannot be denied due to negligence and inadvertency. The Ministry for Religious Affairs has made it obligatory for all the printing institutions of Qur’ānic text to follow the model of the Qur’ānic manuscript, produced by Anjman Ḥimāyat-e-Islām, yet many Qur’ānic manuscripts with errors are present in the market. Such manuscripts are not only present in some mosques, but also recited. It causes problems in recitation of those verses and might changing the meaning of them. This article points out such scriptures and errors, so it can be identified and to take steps for preventive measures for such errors in future. This article also suggests some policies and strategies for publishing of Qur’ān for avoiding misprints errors.An Examination of the Ecological Relationship Between Seed Bank, Life History Traits and Weed Vegetation
The investigation was carried out in Dera Ghazi Khan and Multan districts which are located along the Indus river system. Presence/ absence data were collected from 160 crop fields of wheat and cotton during 2005. We used classification as well as ordination methods to analyze the data structure. The main emphasis was on classification, ordination being used in part to check whether the classification results reflect in an adequate way the main floristical gradients in the data set, and also to detect relations between some environmental factors and the composition and structure of weed vegetation. The major axes brought by the ordination were related to soil characteristics and anthropogenic factors. The application of multivariate statistics {detrended correspondence analysis (DCA) and cluster analysis} allowed an interpretation of weed species spatial distribution and assemblage. From the results of classification (cluster analysis) samples from wheat and cotton fields could be divided in to distinct groups (plant associations) based on floristic composition. We have shown that there is a clear relationship between physical and chemical features of the substrate and the association defined by numerical analysis which surely shows that these groupings of weed species are not arbitrary assemblage. In this respect, soil moisture and texture seems particularly important in shaping the weed communities. Again, the scatters of the ordination diagrams demonstrate the lack of boundaries between weed vegetation types and species distribution: some species were restricted, but the majority had very wide ranges across the associations. Although, the difficulty of describing vegetation boundaries may be general one for weed vegetation yet these series of associations make good sense and may be the most useful of any land-use application. However, weed ecologists must continue to attempt the difficult definition of hazy boundaries of weed vegetation.Journals by Discipline
