امریکہ کے پریسڈنٹ مسٹر کنیڈی کا قتل بہت بڑا بین الاقوامی حادثہ ہے، جس کا اثر پوری دنیا کی سیاست پر پڑیگا، وہ غیر معمولی صلاحیتوں کے مالک تھے، ابھی ان کی عمر ۴۶ سال کی تھی، اور ان کی مدت صدارت بھی ڈھائی سال سے زیادہ نہ تھی، اس عمر اور اس مدت میں بین الاقوامی معاملات میں انہوں نے جس تدبر اور ہوشمندی کا ثبوت دیا وہ ان کی سیاسی بصیرت اور عالی دماغی کی بین شہادت ہے، وہ مختلف رنگ و نسل کی قوموں کے درمیان مساوات، دوستانہ تعلقات اور امن کے بڑے علم بردار تھے، اور اس راہ میں ان کے بڑے کارنامے ہیں، وہ نسلی تفریق و امتیاز کے سخت خلاف تھے اور اس میں انہوں نے اپنی قوم کی بھی مخالفت کی پرواہ نہیں کی اور نیگرو اور یورپین نژاد امریکنوں کے درمیان حقوق کے مساوات کی کوشش کے جرم میں قتل کیے گئے، اس لیے ان کا قتل درحقیقت انسانیت کی راہ کی قربانی ہے، مذہبی حیثیت سے بھی وہ قابل قدر تھے، وہ راسخ العقیدہ کیتھلک تھے، پروٹسٹنٹ میں تو برائے نام مذہب رہ گیا ہے، گورومن کیتھلک کی بعض رسمیں مشرکانہ ہیں لیکن یورپ و امریکہ کی خدا بیزار اور مادہ پرست سرزمین میں مذہب انہی کے دم سے زندہ ہے۔ (شاہ معین الدین ندوی، دسمبر ۱۹۶۳ء)

 

Anxiety Disorders in Pregnant Women: Causes and How to Overcome Them

The article explains the origins of anxiety disorders during pregnancy, and their treatment. Pregnant women's anxiety is normally manifests itself as emotions, perceptions, and behaviors, which is mediated by biological, social, and genetic influences. Probability analysis is done of this kind. Using a survey of 1500 rural residents as a random number between 100 and 1600 produces a 200% response rate. Those findings revealed that 60% of the participants had adequate reproductive age and 51% had mild to moderate anxiety, and 78.4% had high anxiety. The reasons leading to pregnant women's anxiety include their age, working status, lack of care from a boyfriend, having had previously given birth, and their wellbeing before becoming pregnant, all of the woman's family members, and maternal well-being. To resolve this is by sufficient relaxation, anti-depressants, a safe diet, and physical exercise, along with learning how to behave more positively, and by means of ourselves, or through prantal massage.

Lattice Boltzmann Study of Flow Fields Around Stationary and Oscillatory Cylindrical Objects in Various Arrangements

Computational fluid dynamics is a fascinating and complex subject due to rapid development of computer technology, high level programming languages and new developed numerical techniques for unlimited set of different engineering applications. The study of wake structure mechanism behind the cylindrical objects is important for practical applications in wind engineering, aerodynamics, and electronics cooling. The main objective of this study is to systematically investigate the stationary and oscillatory flow problems using the lattice Boltzmann method. The oscillating flow fields are common flow fields in many practical situations like ocean engineering, off-shore structures and similar type of bodies located in a wave environment. Oscillatory motions of small amplitude are very important in the analysis of immersed vibrating bodies. Such motions alter the aerodynamic forces and the pressure distributions as compared to those of rigid body.This may also result to the lock-in phenomenon, where the shedding frequency of fluid becomes equal to the oscillating frequency of the object. On the other hand the oscillatory motions of larger amplitude alter the far flow fields which can be affective due to the presence of other bodies in the flow field. Therefore detailed information regarding the variations of flow fields due to oscillatory motions is very important for designing structures. This study will focus on three main points: (a) Flow past stationary cylinder at various arrangements, (b) Drag reduction in terms of small control cylinders (c) Flow characteristics of oscillatory cylinder arranged in side-by-side or tandem. All these results, most of which have been obtained for the very first time, are of fundamental significance in engineering applications
