آہ ! شاہ نصر احمد پُھلواروی مرحوم
معارف کا یہ رسالہ چھپ رہا تھا کہ اخبار کے ذریعہ شاہ نصر احمد کی انتہائی المناک وفات کی خبر ملی اس سانحہ کی خبر سننے کے لیے بالکل تیار نہیں تھا، ان کی عمر مشکل سے تیئس (۲۳) چوبیس (۲۴) سال رہی ہوگی، یہ تحریر لکھتے وقت ان کا چہرہ یاد آرہا ہے جس پر معصومیت، طہارت، مذہبیت، محبت، مروت اور اخلاق کے جتنے آثار ہوسکتے تھے، ان سب کے انوار ان پر جھلکتے نظر آتے تھے، وہ خانقاہ مجیبیہ پھلواری شریف کے جناب مولانا شاہ عون احمد قادری کے بڑے صاحبزادے تھے، اس تعلق کے علاوہ وہ دارالمصنفین میں بھی آکر دو سال رہے، اپنی نیکی اور اخلاص کا جو نقش یہاں کے لوگوں پر چھوڑ گئے ہیں، وہ مدت مدید تک یاد رہے گا، وہ یہاں اس غرض سے آئے تھے کہ یہاں رہ کر کچھ سیکھیں، لیکن اپنی کم سنی کے زمانہ میں انھوں نے معارف میں امام الحرمین پر تین قسطوں میں جو مضمون لکھا، اس پر برصغیر کے تمام اربات فن کی نظر اٹھی، اور ان کا خیال تھا کہ یہ کسی تجربہ کار اہل قلم اور دیدہ ور عالم کا لکھا ہوا ہے، لیکن جب ان کو بتایا جاتا کہ اس کے لکھنے والے کی عمر کیا ہے، تو ان کو یقین نہیں آتا، اس مضمون سے اندازہ ہوگیا تھا کہ آئندہ علم کی ایک بے پناہ قوت، ہندوستان کی علمی دنیا میں ابھر کر رہے گی، لیکن ان کو خود خیال رہا کہ ان میں ابھی بہت کچھ کمی رہ گئی ہے، اس لیے اس کو پورا کرنے کے لیے وہ دارالعلوم ندوۃ العلماء مزید تعلیم کے لیے چلے گئے، جہاں انھوں نے تین سال رہ کر وہاں کی تعلیم کی تکمیل کی اور ادب میں تحضص کیا، اسی زمانہ میں ان...

Factors Related to the Implementation of Evidenced-based Practice (EBP) of Nursing Staffing Levels in Hospitals: A Literature Review

The implementation of Evidenced-based practice (EBP) was one of the factors in increasing the quality of health services as an ideal problem-solving approach. The ability of nurses to appliance EBP was influenced by many factors, not only on individual nurses consisting by the support of unit leader and colleague. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors associated with the implementation of EBP at the care room level establishing on the support of coworkers and nursing managers. This writing used a literature review study, from several databases namely PubMed, ProQuest, Google Scholar, and ScienceDirect with a limitation of the last 5 years. 17 journals met the inclusion criteria and the results of a literature review study show: eight journals conclude that the support of colleagues and authority in changing practices affects the implementation of EBP, 13 journals concluded the role of managerial nurses affects the implementation of EBP consisting of leadership support and mentorship including the lack of knowledge and skills of nursing leaders regarding EBP. Data from the collected and identified literature study clearly showed that EBP knowledge and skills of nursing leaders related to EBP are important factors in increasing the implementation of EBP but co-worker factors can be a supporter and also an obstacle to the implementation of EBP if it is not well managed.

Student of Carrer Choices Selection and Reqruitment Process in Key Services Industary Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan

The aim of this doctoral study was to examine factors that significantly effect on the low-grade students’ ability to choose their desired careers according to their employability capacities. Generally career choices are made without the awareness of selection and recruitment processes criterion in chosen profession and such career decisions ultimately concludes with disappointment due to failure in initial stage of the selection and recruitment processes. The study initiated and preceded with review of available related literature that led to development of conceptual framework, to collect data, sample population comprising of students from 9th to 12th grade classes was identified from different schools by employing survey questionnaire. Data was carefully examined and after it’s cleansing through social scientific research tools and software. Analyzed 572 surveys, received from students of 9th grade to sophomore of different academic institutions, out of which two were situated in urban area and one was in rural area. Every regression analyses yielded significant calculations and the sums of minimal variance marked. The results indicate significant relationship between awareness of selection and recruitment process and students’ career decision making, career choices and career choice persistency. This study also suggests that successful and effective career decision making requires the comprehensive knowledge of selection and recruitment process of desired profession. Significant impact of the familial, societal and academic institutions influences was observed on students’ career decision making, career choices persistence and selection of college majors as well. This study revealed that junior students should have given awareness about selection and recruitment process and criterion so that they can choose personality-environment fit professions according to their gender, aspirations and physical standards. This study may contribute theoretically and practically towards the career guidance and counseling with new change approached for this region in particular. Researcher identified and discussed a set of limitations, recommendations and prospective for future studies in conclusion.
