92. Al-Layl/The Night

I/We begin by the Blessed Name of Allah

The Immensely Merciful to all, The Infinitely Compassionate to everyone.

92:01
a. By the night when it covers,

92:02
a. and the daylight when it reveals its brightness.

92:03
a. And the One WHO created the male and the female.

92:04
a. Indeed, your endeavors in this life are diverse.

92:05
a. Consequently, as for the one who:
- gives out in the Cause of Allah, and
- fears Allah’s disobedience, and
92:06
a. affirms what is good/the best outcome of the righteous.

92:07
a. WE shall facilitate his way towards the state of ease- the paradise.

92:08
a. But as for the one who:
- is miserly with what is due to Allah, and
- considers oneself above the need of HIS bounties, and

a. denies and belies what is beautiful/the best,

92:10
a. for him WE shall facilitate the way towards the state of hardship - distress of Hell.

برصغیر میں غیر مسلم اہل قلم کے بزبان اردو تراجم و تفاسیر قرآنی

Islamic literary legacy is diverse and multidimensional in Sub-continent despite its being prone to religious b and the issue of migration integral part of Islamic literary legacy is the Quranic translations & interpretations. The main aspect of these translations & interpretations are the endeavors put forward by Muslim as well as non-Muslim scholars. Keeping in view the endeavors translations & interpretations of Quran, the non-Muslims minorities of sub-continent can be divided into two groups. The first group of part is based on the followers of Judaism, Parsee, Buddhist, Sikhism, Jainism and idols of Kalash whose translations and interpretations is not well known. Whereas, the second group endure Christians, Hindus and Qadyanis. Christians and Hidus consider Quran as non-revealed. Since the style of their interpretations is based on criticism and rejection in aggressive manner. Whereas the interpretations by Qadyanis are focused on religious polarized beliefs and ideologies taking into considerations Quran as revealed. That’s why Qadyanis interpretations are not accepted in Muslim community. The criticism by non-Muslims writers has resulted in rational approach for study of Quran instead of tendency based on esteem among Muslim. This paper represents aforementioned non-Muslims services regarding Quranic Interpretations and Translations which are distinguished in Muslims Interpreters.

Epidemiological and Serum Lipid Analysis of Hepatitis B, C and Cirrhosis Patients in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan

Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV) exerts an intense impact on patient’s lipid metabolism. Hence the aim of present study is to determine metabolic derangement that occurs in subjects suffering from hepatitis B, C and cirrhosis. The fasting blood samples were collected from hepatitis B (n=50), C (n=50) and cirrhosis patients (HBV-cirrhosis n=30 and HCV-cirrhosis n=50) along with age and gender matched controls. After separating serum, lipid profile was analyzed by micro-lab 300 and fatty acids (FAs) composition was examined by gas chromatography. Fatty acids were further confirmed by gas GC-MS technique. The epidemiological risk factors for transmission of HBV, HCV and cirrhosis were measured through standard questionnaire specially designed for that purpose. The demographic factors, mainly positive family history, dental treatment, blood transfusion and shaving from barber shop are significant contributing factors in spread of HBV, HCV, and cirrhosis infection. Hypolipidemia in HBV and HCV patients is possibly due to alter liver function. Lipogenesis is elevated in HCV and HBV patients as evident from reduced serum PUFA and elevated SFA as well as MUFA levels. Hence, it proposes the importance of PUFA supplementation and it may provide synergistic antiviral effects when given as a food supplement during the INF based anti - HCV therapy. The lower level of lipid profile (TAG, cholesterol, LDL–C, HDL–C, VLDL–C and total lipids) indicating hypolipidemia in HBV-cirrhosis and HCVcirrhosis patients specify the nonfunctioning of liver. The increased lipogenesis (increased level of SFA) and reduced PUFA levels may be due to altering desaturases activities, impaired PUFA metabolism and non-enzymatic oxidation is associated with progression of HBV-cirrhosis/ HCV-cirrhosis diseases in patients and promote the hepatic lipotoxicity. In conclusion, the hepatitis B and C viruses alter the total cholesterol and FA metabolic pathways. Therefore, the present study provides the information about the changes associated with lipid metabolism and significant upregulation, which might be used as a biomarker for hepatitis B, C and cirrhosis diseases.
