ریشم بننا کھیل نہیں

                ناطق کی نظموں کے مجموعہ کو سانجھ پبلی کیشنز لاہور نے 2019ء میں ’’ریشم بننا کھیل نہیں‘‘ کے نام سے شائع کیا۔تینوں کتابوں کے دیباچے بھی اس مجموعہ میں شامل ہیں۔یہ مجموعہ قارئین کیلئے ایک نادر تحفہ ثابت ہوا،الگ الگ مجموعوں کو پڑھنے کی بجائے سارا متن ایک ہی مجموعہ میں قارئین کی دلچسپی کو دوبالا کرنے کیلئے شائع کیا گیا۔یقیناًیہ ایک عمد ہ کاوش ہے۔فہمیدہ ریاض لکھتی ہیں کہ:

’’علی اکبر جواں سال ہے اور ایوان ادب میں  دلربا شان سے داخل ہوا ہے۔اس کا بے خوف  مشاہدہ ادب کیلئے مسرت کی نوید ہے اس کی شاعری  میں بھڑکتے ہوئے شعلے چہاراطراف کو خاکستر کرتے نظر آتے ہیں۔‘‘(7)

                ریشم بننا کھل نہیںایسا معلوم ہوتا ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنی ایک ایک نظم سے یہ ریشم بنا ہے۔تینو ں کتب کو ایک ہی جلدمیںلے آنا کوئی آسان کام نہیں تھا۔ قاری کے لئے مسرت کی گھڑی ہے کہ اسے ناطق کی شاعری کو  ایک ساتھ پڑھنے کا موقع ملا۔ یقیناً یہ ایک عمدہ کاوش ہے۔

The patience is the noblest virtue and lays great stress on being patient. Islamic History is full of the examples from the lives of Ṣaḥabah who sacrificed a lot. Islam delineates all the divers and broader aspects of patience in all its form. The need is to follow all these noble personalities called Ṣaḥabah in our lives in this era in order to show tolerance and give respect to others. The Prophetic era is considered as the golden period wherein great students were trained to teach humanity, courage and determination. Although, having low status in society they taught the world how to lead a purposeful life with good morals and distinctive principles. They were the men rightly guided with high and far-seeing vision of the Prophet (r). They were the oceans of knowledge, instilled with spirit of service, thus stood as the exemplary icons of practical life. They chose indigent and destitute life but never extended their hands for help for their highly esteemed self-reliance. Those were men of field who never got afraid of anything in their life. They faced all the challenges with faith and patience, and with the spirit of Jihad, they crushed the infidels and uprooted infidelity from Arabian Peninsula. Owing to their strong faith, they passed through many wild, menacing and brutal stages but never tilted towards the worldly things or people, nor did they compromised on their firm belief and clear stance cultivated by the Holly Prophet (r). This was the reason they got the title weak those about is article This. Allah Almighty from (رضي الله عنهم) of companions of the Prophet (r) who were icons of Patience and determination. Their patience is un-exemplary. They were gifted with excellent qualities of forbearance.

Experimental Study to Determine the Effectiveness of Kumon Method in Comparison With Traditional Lecture Method for Teaching of Mathematics to Grade-5

The study was designed to investigate the effectiveness of Kumon method in comparison with traditional method in the teaching of Mathematics to grade-5. Kumon is a math and reading enrichment program, which provides practice and instruction to each individual. This helps the students to think and work independently. The hypothesis of this experimental study was that in Mathematics, Grade-5 students have no significant difference in their academic achievement treated by Kumon method and by traditional lecture method. The objectives of the study were to determine the effectiveness of Kumon teaching method for academic achievement of children in Mathematics, to find out the effectiveness of traditional teaching method for academic achievement of children in Mathematics, to make the comparison between the effectiveness of Kumon teaching method and traditional lecture method for academic achievement of the students and to compare the effectiveness of Kuman method on academic achievement of boys and girls in Mathematics. To achieve these objectives and to test the hypothesis, Kumon method was applied by Pre-test and Post-test equivalent group design. Two tests(pre-test and post-test) containing MCQs were developed. All grade-5 students of Fazaia inter colleges of Rawalpindi and Islamabad was the population. Cluster sampling technique was used. One of the three Fazaia colleges (junior section) was selected randomly. All grade-5 students of the selected cluster formed the sample of the study. The study was conducted in two phases at two different time periods applying the same procedure, the same teachers but the groups were different. Data was collected and analyzed by applying t-test and recommendations were given on the basis of findings of the study. This experimental research shows that Kumon method is more effective for teaching mathematics to Grade 5 students in comparison with traditional lecture method. It also shows that Kumon method is equally helpful in teaching mathematics effectively to boys and girls.
