عالم اسلام کو اگر ایک طرف مختلف قسم کے چیلنجز درپیش ہیں تو دوسری طرف ہماری اپنی کوتاہیاں اور سہولت پسندی بھی محرومی کا سبب بنی ہوئی ہے۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ اسلامی علوم میں جدید مسائل سامنے آرہے ہیں تاہم اسلامی مفکرین اور مذہبی سکالرز ان مسائل کے حل کی تلاش میں لگے ہوئے ہیں، لہٰذا جدید علوم اور مختلف مضامین پر تحقیق کی نئی جہتوں سے متعلق مضامین کو ضبط تحریر میں لانا وقت کی اہم ضرورت تصور کی جاتی ہے ۔ اس ضرورت کے پیش نظر تحقیقی مجلات اپنا کردار بخوبی سرانجام دے رہی ہے، انہی مجلات میں ایک کوشش"برجس" کی بھی ہے جس میں تحقیقی اورعصر جدید کے تقاضوں کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے مفید مقالات کو شائع کیے جاتے ہیں۔"برجس" کو اس بار بھی موصول شدہ مقالات میں سے بہترین مقالات کا انتخاب کیا گیا ہے اس ضمن میں نہ صرف ملکی بلکہ پہلے شمارہ کی طرح غیر ملکی مقالات بھی موصول ہوئے ، جوکہ"برجس" کی تشہیر کے لئے ایک اچھی نوید ہے۔محققین اور قارئین کرام سے توقع کی جاتی ہے کہ آئندہ شماروں کے لئے بھی بہترین تحقیقی مقالے ارسال کرکے ہماری حوصلہ افزائی فرمائیں گے۔

Wisdom is a great blessing of Allah that He has gifted man with. On the basis of this wisdom Allah has given man honor and priority over other beings. Only wise person can be the follower of Sharia decrees. It is through wisdom that one can have the insight of expediencies and vices of the world whereas expediencies and vices of the world hereafter do not come in the circle of wisdom. For the knowledge and insight of Sharia objectives, the role of wisdom is very important. The jurists have given much importance to the role of wisdom for the knowledge of Sharia objectives. An analysis of the jurists' views about the role of wisdom for the insight of Sharia objectives has been presented in this research paper.
Takaful is the name of alternative system of Conventional Insurance. It deals with the mutual cooperation among all human beings in the society. In Takaful, the frame work of conventional insurance has been designed in the light of religious Precedence. Perhaps the practical types of Takaful is new but not to clash with the basic principles of Islamic Law.
In this paper, it has been thoroughly discussed the introduction of Takaful along with Religious Precedence.
This paper attempts to analyze the Status of Humanity in religion. “Humanity" has a high status in religion because ALLAH created each and every thing for "Human". Man is called "Amir of Universe" or "Aide of ALLAH. ALLAH says in the Holy Quran, that each and every thing in this world is created for Man because Human has a high value (Surat An-Naml, verse, 2).In this world Human has nobility because nothing in this world has the ability to beat Human in beauty contest (Surat At Tin).
Islam which is considered the religion and code of life of humanity is also the fore runner of the women rights.it not only restored their last glory as the sacred mother, daughter, wife and sister but also give them equal share in social life and give prime importance to them in decision making. As Islam is the youngest of all human religions therefore all the short comings regarding women rights is fulfilled and given in Islam. This comparative study will analyses the women status in all religions and will compare it with the same in Islam.

Allah, Himself took the responsibility to protect the Quran. Hadith for the sake of safety of the Quran must also be protected. That is why as a prominent Al-Umma scholars created principles to set Sehat (Status) and Zu'f (weakness) of traditions. Each tradition is important to be tested under these principles so that its possible Status and visual is clear.
When starting a job prophet (SAW) narrated a tradition of which the name of Allah has taught literature but the tradition has been reported from different words, because of which scholars have different opinions of Sehat and Zu'f of the tradition. So, in this Article a research is presented about the aforesaid tradition.
Elm-ul-Fawasil (Intespace) is the knowledge of the leading verses of the Quran. To inquire the numer of verses, interspace is the main objective of this knowledge. We have so far considered the miraculous characteristics of the Quran from the scientific and historical points of view. In addition to this, the Quran aslo possesses an astounding, inimitable style from the literacy perspective. The words employed in the Quran are exceedingly special, both in terms of meaning and also of fluency and effect style. Quran is the ultimate miracle of God. The present Quran is in the some condition as it was revealed because almighty Allah has been taken the responsibility its protection. This paper present the definition of Elm-ul-Fawasil, Histoy, etymology, title, its types and the importance of this knowledge.

Islam is a global religion and has provided a comprehensive code of life applicable in every age. Economy is one of its foremost priorities and gives basic principles to its followers to exercise a legal and favorable mean of earning. In Islamic economic system there are many ways and sources that have been prohibited or have not been recommended. As in our daily life we face those modes of financing, so in this article they have been comparatively analyzed in light of the sayings of the Prophet (S.A.W) in order to explore its legitimacy.
النزعة الصوفية في شعر خوشحال خان

This article focuses on the various aspects of Khushal's mystical poetry. Khushal was well-read and had a lot of scholarly exposure. He also spent time in the company of great scholars. All these factors contributed to his mystical poetry.
i. According to him the servant of God knows himself. In other words those people know themselves who know Allah. ii This world becomes a mirage for those who believes in Allah and the world seems a useless place to them. iii.There is a universe in the heart of a “darwesh”. iv.There are two types of mind; one is worldly and the other is spiritual. They both consider each other as the same. v. True love does not depend on wisdom but it depends on the passion of the individuals. In short, Khushal khan khattak has expressed great mystical thoughts in his poetry for the benefits of all and sundry, and invites them to think about their near future and see what is happening around them and what will be the answer of that questions which would be asked on the day of resurrection.
المال الحرام في ضوء القرآن والسنة

Allah is pure and accept that which is pure, so, in reason of it, Allah has commanded his believers as he has commanded his messengers. Allah said that eat of the good things and do good deeds and He said that eat of the lawful things that we have provided to you. So as followers of Islam, We have to keep ourselves away from goods and things that are un pure and unlawful.
As turning about this circle, this article throws a brief light on the types of wealth, money, property and goods, which are unlawful according to the Quran and Hadith.
الإمام الدار قطني و منهج سننه

Qur’an and prophetic traditions (Hadith) are the fundamental sources of Islam. Muslims believe that Qur’an is the word of God (Allah). Hadith (Prophet’s Sayings, actions and silent approval and disapproval for something) likewise is based on divine revelation. Qur’an affirms also this view: (God says) Your Companion (Muhammad) has neither gone astray nor has erred, nor does He speak of (his own) desire. It is only a Revelation revealed. Al-Qur’an (53:2-4). Allah Almighty Himself took the responsibility to guard His word (the Qur’an): (He says :) verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’an) and surely, We will get it (from corruption). (Al-Qur’an:15:9) on the contrary the responsibility to guard the prophetic traditions (Hadith) was put on the shoulders on the Muslim Ummah. The scholars of Islam (Ulamas) try their utmost to collect and save the Prophetic traditions and guard it from any alteration. To achieve this purpose, they introduced different hadith sciences to distinguish between the true and the fabricated hadith. The authentic Sunnah is contained within the vast body of Hadith literature. Different scholars have edited and compiled the books which contain a large numbers of authentic Ahadith (Ahadith Sahiha), one of them is Imam Dara Qutni who had worked on different angles of Hadith and Uloom ul Hadith. In this article, we will briefly introduce Imam Dara Qutni and his work towards approach to the prophetic tradition in his book Sunan Dara Qutni.
The interfaith dialogue has a very intricacy in its terminology. The interfaith dialogue changes with the passage of time. So getting the fruitful result is impossible unless & until the clear definition of interfaith dialogue. Islam teaches to respect all religions and Prophets to maintain and sustain the peace & harmony. Islamic teachings emphasize to convey the message to the followers of the religions but especially to the revealed religions. This is the need of the day to develop the sprite of harmony and understanding among the followers of revealed religions. This article discusses the different ambiguous terminologies and all these dimensions which are very essential for interfaith dialogue.
The variety and difference in natural capabilities of a nation can be observed in their conversational skills. If the mental level of an individual has properly grown up, his power of expression, vocabulary and style of reasoning will be defiantly of high standard as compared to a common man. Similarly, when these skills get a literary shape it become more standardized. “Al Nazaha” is the art of the speech having similarity with satire ((هجو to a level but is different in many aspects with respect to its application, such as purification of plebian words (سوقيانه كلام), reformative critical outlook and broad thinking etc. This article deals with the art of speech (النزاهة) its introduction and utilization in the Arabic and Islamic sources.

In fact, Religion Islam is a complete code of life and its teachings are forever. They leave undying brunt on human beings directly or indirectly towards its spiritual as well as material purification (Tazkia) if put into practice appropriately according to the Sharī ‘ah’s teachings i.e. the noble Book, Qur’an and Sunnah. ‘An interesting irony that every dollar note has the admission: “In God we trust”, but when it comes to develop theories to earn dollars or to distribute or spend them, trust is placed only on human ideas based on personal assessments; God is held totally out of picture, as being irrelevant to economic activities’.[Taqi Usmani].
The introduced Islamic Banking System is one of the positive steps taken by religious scholars in order to pull out the humanity in general and Muslims specifically from manmade unsound, Interest-based Financial System. The statistic proves that the introduced Islamic banking system has a rapid growth in the market for the last two decades but still, a number of doubts have been created regarding its theory, framework and practices that this system is not in full conformity with Sharī‘ah. Some scholars give the impression that the Islamic banking system and conventional banking system is of same nature but of different names only and the interest presently occurred in these financial institutions is not forbidden in Sharī‘ah because it is for business purposes. Such miss representations not only dishearten the entry of new one to this sector but also craft mystification and perplexity in the minds.
Keeping in view the above scenario, need is felt to assess, evaluate and analyze the situation with special stress to mentioned perceptions.
The present study investigates different aspects and dimensions of these perversion and unmapped areas in the context of Sharī‘ah and ground realities in order to know the extent of validity of these perceptions and give real picture to the public in general and enhance the satisfactory level of the enlisted Islamic Banking customers in particular.
