افسوس ہے کہ ۸؍ جنوری ۱۹۴۲ء کی شام کو سابق صدر اعظم ریاست حیدرآباد سراکبر حیدری نے دلّی میں وفات پائی، سراکبر حیدری ہندوستان کی سب سے بڑی اسلامی ریاست کے وزیر مالیات اورپھر صدر اعظم ہونے کے سبب سے تمام اسلامی اداروں سے ایک خاص مربّیانہ تعلق رکھتے تھے، اور اس بنا پر ان کا حادثہ وفات ہم سب کے لیے غم و الم کا باعث ہواہے، ان کی عمر اس وقت ۷۲ برس کی تھی، مگر اس عالم میں بھی جس انہماک، مصروفیت اور بیدار مغزی سے وہ اپنے مفوضہ خدمات کو انجام دیتے تھے اس سے ان کے غیر معمولی دل و دماغ کے آدمی ہونے کا ثبوت ملتا تھا، اﷲ تعالیٰ ان کی مغفرت فرمائے۔ (سید سلیمان ندوی، جنوری ۱۹۴۲ء)
Maulana Muhammad Ali - A Strategic Point in Indo-Muslim Politics (Comment)
‘A great man’, says Justice Oliver Wendell, Jr, ‘represents a great ganglion in the nerves of society, or to vary the figure, a strategic point in the campaign of history, and part of his greatness consists in being there’. (italic ours). And Maulana Muhammad Ali was one such nerve-centre in Indo-Muslim society during the second and third decades of the twentieth century. Indeed, he was one such strategic point in the onward march of Indo-Muslim politics that eventually found culmination and crystallization in the emergence of Pakistan. Actually no one else represented the tone, tenor and temper of the romanticist, Khilafatist era (in the 1910s and 1920s) as he did in his hectic life, his revolutionary activities his numerous discomfitures, and in his tragic death. Whether he led a hectic life, whether he took recourse to a revolutionary path, or whether he goaded himself to die a tragic death outside the frontiers of his motherland cataclysmically, in whatever he did, he, consciously or unconsciously, carried forward the campaign of Indo-Muslim history: the redemption of Islam in India and abroad. In other words, he stood, above all, for an honourable existence for Muslims in India and in the rest of the troubled Muslim world in the existential crisis that convulsed Muslim India and that world.The Mediating Role of Psychological Capital in Relationship Between Intellectual Capital and Organizational Performance
Human resource has become the most valuable possessions of any organization for their long-term survival and for becoming competitive. Now organizations main focus is on the development, retention, and management of human resource in such a way that will have more productive and profitable impacts on organization performance. In 21st century concepts like organizational performance and its relation with human resource management has become the most demanding research topics. To this end, the present study highlighted the important contribution of the psychological resources of employees in organizational performance. The main purpose of this study was to determine the mediating effect of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organization performance with reference to the software industry with Pakistan?s context. Survey type of research was applied for data collection through a questionnaire. A convenience sample of 320 software developers from software companies registered with P@SHA participated in this research and data was analyzed by applying descriptive and inferential statistics.This quantitative study was built on the theoretical foundation of resource-based theory and social network theory and also advocates the mediation model of Andrew Hayes for reporting the mediating role of psychological capital in the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance Consistent with previous literature correlation results indicated that there is a significant relationship between the three constructs. Moreover,the regression analysis results confirmed that psychological capital mediates the relationship between intellectual capital and organizational performance. It is concluded from results insertion of psychological not only increase organizational performance, but it also boosts the intellectual capital of employees. So, it is empirically confirmed that the development of psychological resources of employees has multiple positive impacts on employees and organizational performance.
