شیخ ولایت علی مرحوم بی۔اے، ال ال، بی ہمارے ان نوجوانوں میں تھے جن سے قوم کو اپنی جوان بختی کی امید تھی، تعلیم جدید کی اعلیٰ لیاقت کے ساتھ ان کا مشرقی اخلاق و معاشرت عجیب و دلکش تھا ان کی شیریں گفتاری، جس میں سادگی اور ظرافت کا نمک ملا ہوتا تھا، ان کے ہم بزم دوستوں کے لئے عجیب نعمت تھی اور ان کی پر بہار انشا پردازی جس سے کامریڈ اور نیوایرا کے صفحات گل ریز رہتے تھے ہمیشہ کے لئے خزاں رسیدہ ہوگئی، وہ ان لوگوں میں تھے جو حوادث زمانہ اور سختی ہائے ایام کا خندہ جبینی اور ہنسی خوشی کے ساتھ مقابلہ کرتے ہیں، ان کی آزاد روی اور حریت فکری خطرہ کی ہر قید و بند سے بے پروا تھی اور ماہوار وسیع آمدنی کے مالک تھے لیکن ان کے کام دوہن اور جان و تن کے لئے وہ بیگانہ چیز تھی، وہ حقیقت میں مجالس قومی فقرائے وطن اور احباب و اعزہ کا حق تھی، غفرلہ اﷲ و رحمہ، جناب سجاد انصاری کے ہم ممنون ہیں کہ ان کی نظم نے ہمارے ماتم کا فرض ادا کردیا۔ (سید سليمان ندوی)

گو سامنے منظر خزاں تھا
ہر بات میں بذلہ سنجیوں سے
اک سحرِ تجلّی بیان تھا
تیرے اندازِ گفتگو میں
اک محشر حسن داستان تھا
تحریر کی دلفریبیوں میں
افسونِ بہار بوستان تھا

In order to contain the spread of corona virus (COVID-19) disease, strict border closure measures have been taken globally. Migrants and refugees are affected across the globe due to such measures. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the economic recession escalated across the globe which is expected to have serious implications for the migrant workers and laborers. Potohar region was selected to explore implications of return migration from abroad, but the fieldwork halted immediately due to the pandemic outbreak. Since the data on Pakistani migrants is dispersed and scant, it was nearly impossible to stick to the locale for returnees. Therefore, the data for this study was collected qualitatively using exploratory methodology. In-depth interviews were conducted using interview guide as a tool of research. The paper is based on analysis of the narratives based on the experiences of the returnees especially. It sheds light on the state of the stranded Pakistani migrants who have been returning or awaiting repatriation due to layoffs. It delves into long-run and short-run challenges due to return migration, in Pakistan which highly depends on remittances from abroad. Challenges created by sudden end to remittances, entrepreneurial setups and returnees’ reintegration in the society need immediate attention. It is recommended that the state should support and monitor the migrants living abroad, ease out issues in repatriation of the laid off workers, pave way for investment, offer insurance plans, reduce reliance on remittance flow and engage them in Public Private Partnerships for sustainable reintegration.
The aspiration in the study is to interrogate organizational justice relation with employee satisfaction and turnover intention taking trust as mediator among the teaching and non-teaching staff of public and private universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The purpose is to investigate the impact of organizational justice dimensions (such as; distributive, procedural, informational and interactional) on job satisfaction and turnover. The study was conducted on 550 employees in six public and six private universities. This study results hypothesized that organizational justice along with its components has a positive and a significant relationship with job satisfaction and turnover and also indicates effect of trust in relation with those variables. Convenience sampling approach is used for this study and further self-administered survey questionnaire was circulated to obtain perceptions of target sample. Components of organizational justice build-up were based on multi-item scales. In the beginning CFA was conducted for the validity of each measurement and later the correlation and descriptive statistic were reported. Hierarchical multiple regression was conducted in order to interrogate the impact of four aspects on job satisfaction and turnover. Results of this study indicate that all variables of this research are significantly related to each other and has significant relation and are considered strong are strong predictor, however, distributive justice has negative and insignificant relationship with trust, whereas, other three components of organizational justice have positive and a significant relationship with trust. The only limitation researcher faced during the data collection was lack of positive response, which is due to issues like; inadequacy of knowledge, time, empathetic to the organization, underdevelopment of organizational and contribution to organization portfolio. Based on this research results the future researcher should take leadership style as the mediator.
